The Jungle Book MOVIE REVIEW | Neel Sethi, Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan

Real life animals taking real life heroes into great form began from the time of Life of Pi when everything held the audience’s breath. Neel Sethi’s Jungle Book is once again back and Mowgli’s adventures never cease to amaze the audience.

Neel Sethi plays Mowgli who has to leave home when Shere Khan played by Idris Elba becomes menacing. Ben Kingsley as the stern panther and Bill Murray as the free spirited bear give life to the story. The young boy meets so many animals on his way and Scarlett Johnson as the slithery python really makes a great impact. Mowgli or Neel learns all about life through the film and the flick is indeed an epic of sorts with the best of adventure, fun and of course self discovery.

Great direction by Jon Favreau and absolutely mesmerizing screenplay by Justin Marks takes this story from Rudyard Kipling to yet another level created by the film artists. Music is mind blowing from John Debney and this is surely not the last we would hear of Jungle Book and its characters who would endear themselves to you through this film. A must watch for all and a sure watch for all Jungle Book fans.
